  1. My grandma started teaching me from the Bible when I was three years old. At age seven, I moved into her house. We continued reading from the Bible. To this day, the Ten Commandments keep watch on my actions in the world, and in my home, even as I’m not acutely aware of this background in my mind. I’m glad she taught me.

    1. My grandma taught me from the huge family King James Bible, also starting at age 3 (1955). I could read, write, and speak “1611” Elizabethan English.
