What are you most proud of in your life?
My U.S. Air Force career.

Very rested. 😴

Skydiving!!!!!🪂
What principles define how you live?
The Ten Commandments. Also Jesus taught “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you”. Very good advice.
When was the first time you really felt like a grown up (if ever)?
When I joined the U. S. Air Force on 1 February, 1973.
If you had a million dollars to give away, who would you give it to?
I would give it to the Church ⛪️ to buy food and clothes for the poor.
What was the hardest personal goal you’ve set for yourself?
Answering God’s call to become a priest. Went through seminary and became a subdeacon, then deacon, and finally a priest. Used Pre-Vatican II Rites at each ordination step. Learned a lot. Then 6 years later got my Doctorate of Divinity before I could be consecrated a bishop. Again used Pre-Vatican II Rite.
Who are your favorite artists?
Only have one. Liam Neeson. Great actor. Will watch any movie he’s in.
What is your favorite hobby or pastime?
Daily prayer and watching horror and sci-fi movies from the 1940s-1970s, especially Japanese monster movies like Godzilla, King Kong, Dracula, and Frankenstein. Most of them were in black and white.
What would you do if you lost all your possessions?
I wouldn’t care at 71 years of age. I’d go to Goodwill and get just the necessities of life and live day to day until I die, thanking God for giving me one more day at a time to live. Easy, really.
Tell us about a time when you felt out of place.
The day I arrived in Adana, Incirlick AB, Turkey. Began a 13 month tour as Chief Engineer of the Armed Forces Radio and Television Station. Learned to speak Turkish language while I was there.
Your life without a computer: what does it look like?
Very peaceful, prayerful, no more stress, elections, internet, emails, just back to the 1950’s and before.
What skill would you like to learn?
None. I’m 71 years old now, retired, and I prefer relaxing, reading books, 📚, taking naps, etc. Life is good 👍.
What details of your life could you pay more attention to?
Daily grooming and daily prayer. Asked about my grooming habits. Brushing my teeth, shaving, showering,flossing my teeth, combing my hair. Some of you are just too nosy about personal grooming habits and I will BLOCK THEM!
What’s your #1 priority tomorrow?
Daily prayer. 365 days a year.
In what ways does hard work make you feel fulfilled?
Hard work gives me personal satisfaction.
What’s the trait you value most about yourself?
Honesty. Because of brain damage from encephalitis in June, 1988, I am incapable of lying. Don’t know why, but I like it. Close second would be my obsessive, compulsive, disorder. Have to have everything clean and everything has to be in its place.
List three jobs you’d consider pursuing if money didn’t matter.
Hospice Care, animal shelter volunteer, and cleaning grave markers that have been neglected.
What aspects of your cultural heritage are you most proud of or interested in?
My Irish ☘️ heritage. 😎
What brands do you associate with?
I don’t associate with any brand as I haven’t bought anything new in over 25 years. Ha! Ha! 🤪

How do you celebrate holidays?
I celebrate holidays with my family, especially Thanksgiving and Christmas every year. It’s the best time of the year! 🙏🎉🎊🎁
Write about your most epic baking or cooking fail.
Thank God and the teaching of my mother and grandmother I have never had a baking/cooking failure yet. I pray to God that this always will be the case.
Describe your ideal week.
Get up, have cereal or eggs with cheese, glass of milk, and coffee. Then watch the “Price is Right”, followed by the news and weather report. After that, read my email and watch Hulu and Netflix the rest of the week and weekend.
