Describe your ideal week.

Get up, have cereal or eggs with cheese, glass of milk, and coffee. Then watch the “Price is Right”, followed by the news and weather report. After that, read my email and watch Hulu and Netflix the rest of the week and weekend.

The professional athletes I respect the most are Joe Montana and Jerry Rice. They were the quarterback and receiver of the San Francisco 49’s in the 1980’s. I consider them the best of all time.

Feeling Blessed by God right now. 🙏

I searched for a Church Document Seal for official Church Records, such as Baptisms, Confirmations, Marriages, and First Communions. Found one and bought it for $44.95. It will be bearing my Archdiocese name and Church name on it. 🙏✌️

What’s your favorite time of day?

My favorite time of the day is evening, around 8pm. It’s quiet, peaceful, and it’s very relaxing. I can surf the Internet, check my Facebook, Instagram, and other accounts that I have, check my email accounts (Google, Outlook, Yahoo), and then continue reading my Kindle book selection that I’m currently reading. After that, I take a long, relaxing shower, put on body lotion, and go to sleep, wearing my CPAP Machine around 11pm-12 midnight.

What’s your favorite recipe?

Chinese beef fried rice with a side dish of salad with ranch dressing. Yum! 😛

What motivates you?

Morning prayers, saying the Divine Mercy Rosary, followed by a cup of coffee ☕️ and a good breakfast 🍳.

What is the most important thing to carry with you all the time?

I carry a small bag containing all my diabetes testing equipment whenever I leave the house. I’m Type II diabetic, insulin only individual, diagnosed with diabetes in 2000 by the VA. I check blood sugar levels before eating and then 1 hour after eating. Depending on the test results I may have to take some insulin to keep levels stable and steady. 🙏

What change, big or small, would you like your blog to make in the world?

I would like my blog to reach as many people as possible and help them get a good laugh, feeling, or sense of wisdom from what I post online. I wish for all to be the best they can be every day with the help of God. Have a Blessed Day. 🙏

What’s the most money you’ve ever spent on a meal? Was it worth it?

Spend $220.00 every 2 -3 Weeks on sushi at a Japanese Restaurant in San Jose, California. Well worth the price as it is great. 😎

What are you curious about?

I know there is a Heaven. I’m brimming with lots of questions about the afterlife. I know already I’m going there when I die, but I’m bursting with curiosity and excitement right now.

Write about a random act of kindness you’ve done for someone.

Sometimes I’ll pay the bill at the local diner for a Veteran, especially if the Veteran is Korean War or Vietnam War as I am a Vietnam War Era Veteran. I wear my U.S. AIR FORCE RETIRED baseball cap whenever I go out and about every day.

If you won two free plane tickets, where would you go?

I would go to Estonia 🇪🇪 to visit my Patriarch Heigo Ritsbek. I am a Primate and Metropolitan Archbishop and lead the American branch of the Church, based at the St. Giles, the Hermit Archdiocese, here in San Jose, California.

When I was in seminary, I took my first religious vows as a Subdeacon and took the name of Thomas Francis Bartholomew. Thomas for the Apostle Thomas (the doubtful), Francis for St. Francis, the first person to bear the marks of the Stigmata, and the Apostle Bartholomew. I still use this name in my religious daily life as a Prelate and Metropolitan Archbishop privately. Publicly I go by my birth name.

What do you listen to while you work?

I listen to Cher’s “Believe” song, set up to loop 🔁 play while I work. I listen to the lyrics and remember the romantic feelings I had for my first girlfriend, second girlfriend, and finally my third girlfriend who is now my wife of 47+ years. We have 2 children, a daughter, now 46, and a son, now 44. Each one has given me 2 grandchildren each, 4 in total, 2 boys and 2 girls. Life is wonderful whenever I listen to Cher. What’s your go-to comfort food?

Believe or not, Jack-in-Box Ultimate Cheeseburger 🍔 meal, with a Diet Coke, medium sized. Junk Food and loving it anytime, anywhere. Bad for me but I love it 😻.

What foods would you like to make?

I would like to make bread from scratch. I did this as a kid in the 1950’s and it was fun. I also would like to make an apple pie from scratch. Getting a pie tin, lining it with pie dough, adding apples loaded with cinnamon and sugar, topped by criss-crossed pie dough. YUM!

Dogs or cats?

Some people are crazy about owning a dog/dogs. Some people are crazy about owning a cat/cats. A dog can be very happy with a person or a family. Cats should be adopted as a pair as they tend to feel anxious and stressed out when left alone while the owner/owners are out, maybe going to work. A pair of cats can keep each other company. So everyone has their own preferences for pets.

Which activities make you lose track of time?

My only activity that makes me lose track of time is going for long walks early in the morning before it gets hot 🥵 and again in the evening when it’s cooler again, but before it gets dark outside.

What bothers you and why?

Nothing bothers me as I have God watching over me 24/7.

Jesus became a carpenter like his earthly father Joseph as all men of his era were expected to do. He proved to be an accomplished carpenter and woodworker.

Jesus was baptized in the Jordan River by his cousin, John, the Baptizer. The Holy Ghost came down from Heaven to be one with Jesus from that day on.

Jesus began preaching the Good News, first to the Jews, and then to the Gentiles as well. He preached that God, the Father would be there for everyone who believed in Him.

The Beatitudes are an important guide for living a good, holy life.

Jesus was crucified, died, and was buried for our sins. He rose again on the 3rd day.

Jesus rose up into Heaven and is seated at the right hand of God, the Father.
